On Sunday evening of the glider meeting at the Hanse Sail in Rostock/ Germany Jörg Müller (pilot) and Detlef Billig (Fliegerrevue) decided to create a aerobatics formation with tree Jaks. No sooner said than done !
The aerobatics proramme premiered with tree Jaks at the Aero Fiedrichshafen in May 2005. Now there are four black Jaks with the Fliegerrevue design that can be seen at 8 up to 12 air shows all over Europe every year. But it was hard to get there!
There were endless discussionms about the design, the number of aircrafts, the programme, the pilots, the name and so on ... and where to get the money? Well, preparations started.
Lots of difficulties occured. There were delivery and technical problems, bad working and weather conditions, a permanent lack of time and money.
But it was worth it!
Now we are the "Black Jacks". A team of a few pilots and many friends who made this possible.
